Today was Tim’s birthday. We had a party and had some friends over. Tim says that birthdays are different when you’re an adult. He’s right. There were a ton of kids running around and it was challenging at times to have an adult conversation. But, it was a lot of fun to have our friends over to celebrate him.
As you can see from the photo, I am clearly NOT a cake decorator. Why couldn’t I have chosen last year to do the number cake!? I will never do that again…unless there are only straight lines involved. Seriously though, Pinterest came through with a great cake and frosting recipe. It was delicious.
I was planning on doing an easy three mile run tomorrow. After tonight’s indulgences, I may need to adjust that plan.
