1000 miles

Did you know that I am on par to run more than 1000 miles this year?  I randomly decided to do the math.  In order to run 1000 miles in a year, I need to average 19.23 miles per week.  Definitely do-able, but there will be a few taper weeks built in leading up to some of my bigger races.
Averaging 19.23 miles per week for each of the first 21 weeks of the year (not quite through the 21st week) would put me at 403.85 miles for the year.  I’m currently at 427.2 miles for the year.  This is pretty cool!  I had no idea that I could even run 1000 miles in a year.
I need to give myself more credit!
I am strong!
I can do it!
I AM A RUNNER!!!
